My name is Bob Heller (Gorilla Bob), Tester of the SnapShot Ferrules. I know that there are players out there Amateur and Professional alike that would have questions just how good these ferrules really are! Will they hold up? Will the shiny ferrule be too shiny? And last but not least, will the ferrule be to heavy or hold up? Well let me tell you about my experience with not just the Testing but still playing with the SnapShot ferrules. I met Terry and Master Que Maker Wayne Gunn at a local pool tournament that I run at a local Pub in Silver Springs, FL. Back then the ferrules were still a thought. After a few months I was asked if I would play with the first prototype. “Put it to the test” they said. Break and play with it hard they said. I laughed when they said that! I go through 2 ferrules a year and a few tips. I play 50+ games a week. The first prototype held up to the breaking and playing but not the abrasiveness of the chalk. Over the next few months and other prototypes and much more testing, they hit the rite combo! From the break to the finish of the game, the SnapShot ferrule is a very solid hitting ferrule and is a big plus for any Cue Stick. I have found that there is no problem with the Luster of the ferrule other then the Beauty that it will add to your Cue. No problem with the weight of the ferrule. You’ll never notice enough weight change to make a difference in your stroke other then better balance. And as far as holding up…I have played over 2500 games and still playing with my SnapShot ferrules on my own Cues with NO Problems whatsoever. I play with a Wayne Gunn Custom Que and have SnapShot Ferrules on my Viking Ques also. And Yes I BREAK with MY CUES and the SnapShot Ferrules…. I want to Thank Terry and Wayne for coming up with such a great Idea and product…. Thank you Both Bob Heller (Gorilla Bob)
